Ron Mobed has held executive positions in information and analytics companies including seven years as CEO at Elsevier where he led the digital transformation of the business and five years as division President/COO at IHS, which he helped to take public. Earlier, he held various positions at Schlumberger in the USA, Africa and Asia.
Ron is currently appointed as Vice-Chair and a Supervisory Board Member at Fugro N.V., the world’s leading geo-data specialist. He is also a Trustee of the University of Dundee and of the Campaign for Science and Engineering (CaSE).
Ron holds a BA/MA from Cambridge University and a MSc from Imperial College London and is a Fellow of the Energy Institute and of the Institute of Directors.
